Jordan

Jordan's population is predominantly Arab, with a majority of Palestinian origin alongside East Bank Jordanians, plus large refugee communities. Arabic is the official language and English is widely used.

Islam, predominantly Sunni, is the state religion, with a small Christian minority.

Jordan has high literacy and a young population with a well-educated workforce, though youth unemployment and the burden of hosting refugees weigh on society.
