Lesotho

Lesotho is unusually homogeneous, almost entirely Basotho. Sesotho and English are the official languages.

Christianity is the dominant faith, blended with traditional beliefs.

Society

Lesotho has relatively high literacy but low incomes and was severely affected by HIV/AIDS, with the economy and many families dependent on work in South Africa.
