April 5th Thunder Run Heads Through Baghdad.

Coalition Forces strengthened their grip on the outskirts of the Iraqi capital. A 3rd ID Armored Brigade commanded by Lieutenant Colonel Schwartz led an attack called Thunder Run. It was a moving column that made its way almost to the center of the city and then returned back to the airport.
