March 25th Sandstorms Dominate.

Sandstorms dominated the front on this day and was the major enemy of the Americans. American forces continued their race North under continued fire from Iraqi forces. The V Corps seized An Najaf and began operations to secure the city. The Iraqis attempted limited counter-attacks under cover of the sandstorms but were repulsed. In the South British troops surrounded Basra but did not enter. The UK Armored division secured the Al Faw southern oil fields.
