October 4 th - Car bombs killed 26 across Iraq and wounded another 100. The first bomb went off at a police recruiting center. The second at the Baghdad Hotel and the final in Mosul in North Iraq. That bomber killed five including two children when his bomb went off in front of an elementary school.

Ocober 31st A rocket was fired into a hotel in Tikrit and killed 15 Iraqis and wounded another 8.
