North Korea Explodes A-Bomb

On October 9th North Korea announced that it had successfully tested an Atomic Bomb. North Korea did so despite intense pressure from other nations including China and South Korea. North Korea became the eighth country to officially enter the nuclear club. North Korea however,has been consiedered a rogue state, one which has shared its technonlogy with other states unfriendly to the US and the west. It was feared that the Korean test might set off an arms race in the East Asia
