Day 76dth of the Obama Administration

Day Seventy Seven April 7, 2009

The President began his day with a meeting wtih religious leaders. He then took a tour of the Hagia Sophia. He went on to the Sultan Ahmed Mosque. The President then had a town hall meeting with student in Istanbul

President Obama then made a surprise visit to Iraq. He first received a briefing from the American commsnder in Iraq General Odierno.

Next the President met with a group of soldiers.

Finally the President met with Iraqi Prime Minister. At that meeting President Obama pressed the Iraqi Premier to be more forthcoming in reaching out to Sunni's and other groups.-
