Wanamassa YTB-820

Wanamassa (YTB-820) was laid down on 28 October 1972 at Marinette, Wis., by the Marinette Marine Corp.; launched on 4 May 1973; and delivered to the Navy on 28 July 1973.

Assigned to the 10th Naval District, Wanamassa operated out of San Juan, Puerto Rico, into 1980, aiding ships in berthing and docking maneuvers and standing ready to provide waterfront fire protection.
