Sailor: Harry J. Wilson
My father was on Lexington when she was hit in the battle of Coral Sea and when they were ordered to abandon ship he had a jar of old dimes in his bunk, and was wondering if he could get down to them in time, he decided not to and was good he left them or he would not of made it out.I have news clippings out of news paper of the sinking and the men jumping overboard, among them is my father. He also was sent to Bikini Island for test bombing after the war, he is still living in Harrisville W.VA
