USS Boxer

03/16/00..1900hrs...I was one of the USAF troops who loaded aboard the Boxer in July of 1950. It was a great trip and the most memorable item that comes to mind is the excellent bread that the navy cooks served. I say it was a great trip as far as the sailing is concerned but, my Korean experiences leave a lot to be desired. Especially after being an Combat Infantryman in Europe in 1944/45...
