John F. Hartley.

John F. Hartley, a cutter built at San Francisco by the Risdon Iron Works in 1874, was used on the West Coast by the Revenue Cutter Service until transferred to the Navy 6 April 1917. After the end of World War 1, she was sold 1 August 1919 to IV. T. Cleverdon of San Francisco.
