Wenatchee II YTB-808

The second Wenatchee (YTB-808), a large harbor tug, was laid down on 24 November 1969 at Sturgeon Bay, Wis., by Pedersen Builders, Inc., launched on 7 July 1970; and placed in service on Christmas Day.

The tug was assigned to the 11th Naval District and, since going into service, has operated at San Diego Calif. As of 1 January 1979, she was still active at San Diego.
