Marica transport

A merchant name retained.

Marica, a transport built by Sun Shipbuilding Co., Chester, Pa., in 1919 for Luckenbach Steamship Co., was taken over and commissioned by the Navy 9 June 1919. After transatlantic service returning the AEF from France, she was transferred to the War Department 12 September 1919.
