A British name retained. Sir Richard Keats (1756-), a captain in the Royal Navy, commanded HMS Superb from 1801 to 1807.
Tisdale (DE-278) (q.v.) -as renamed HMS Keats upon transfer to the United Kingdom under lend-lease 19 October 1943.
