Patapasco III sch.

(Sch: 1. 101': b. 25'; dph 11'5")

The third Patapsco, a privateer bottled up in Chesapeake Bay by British blockaders during the War of 1812, was hired by the Navy for service as a lookout in the lower bay to warn of British raids and to discourage attacks against American shipping in the Bay.
