New York NY August 30 Sept 2 Nominated: George Bush of Texas for President Nominated: Dick Cheney of Wyoming for Vice President President Bush was nominated on the first ballot. The convention was well organized with no real surprises. Day One Monday August 30th Speeches: Senator McCain Mayor Guliani.

Day Two Tuesday August 31st Speeches: Governor SCHWARZENEGGER.

Day Three Wednesday September 1 Speeches: Senator Zel Miller Vice President Cheney.

Day Four Thursday July 29th.
