John Edwards

John Edwards was born in Seneca South Carolina June 10, 1953. He attended public schools for elementary and high school. He went on to North Carolina State University were he received his BA in 1974. He earned a law degree from the Univeristy of North Carolina in Chapel Hill in 1977. For the next 20 years he practice law. In 1988 he ran for the Senate of the United States and won. In 2004 he ran for the democratic nomination for President. While he did not win the nomination he was selected by Senator John Kerry to be his running mate. Senator Edwards has spent the last two years building an organization for his current run for the nomination.
