Election 2004

Sept 26- Oct 4th The week was dominated by the preperations for the actual debate and the spin after the debate. The debate was a clear victory for Kerry. Kerry was at the top of his game and succeeded in attacking President Bush's policies in ways that Bush did not have clear answers. Bush stayed on message one of his campaign strengths. In the debate however, Bush message seemed repetitive. The visuals also helped Kerry. Bush seemed peeved and impatient. By the time the Sunday talk shows talk place the first polls had come out and they showed a 5 pts bump for Kerry.
