1944 Largest Bombing Raids of the War

Over the course fo the war 1,440,000 bomber sorties were flown against Germany 2,700,000 tons of bombs were dropped. The United States lost 79,265 men and Great Briain lost 79,281. The US and UK lost 18,000 and 22,000 planes respectively. By the end of the war 3,600,000 German dwellilng units were destroyed. Most of the industrial capacity of the Germany had been destroyed.
