Renaissance Education

Educators during the Renaissance believed in liberal studies. The core of that education was the study of history, moral philosophy, rhetoric, grammar, poetry, mathematics, and music. The educators believed that a sound body was important to go with a sound mind, thus there was an emphasis placed on physical education as well. The majority of students in Renaissance school were boys, but some girls were also educated.
