COASTAL MASSACRE BY TERRORISTS On March 11th 1978, terrorists commandeered an Egged bus. They destroyed the bus, killing 38 Israeli hostages.
Terrorist came ashore near Ceasaria. They first killed American nature photographer, Gail Rubin, (some of the photos in the animal section were taken by her). They then commandeered a bus and drove it down the coastal road.

When they reached an Army blockade, just north of Tel Aviv, they blew up the bus with its passengers inside. There were few survivors.
