The President began his day with his daily security briefings. He then received his daily economic briefing. Next thePresident met with his senior advisors.

The President then delivered remarks at a fundraising lunch for the Democratic Governors Association.

The President then delivered short remarks on the meeting that had taken earlier that day between Iran and the Group of Six plus 1 . The President characterized the talks as positive but was careful to state that the talks were only a very first start. Remarks

The President then met with Secretary of State Hilary Clinton and then with Secretary of the Treasury Tim Geithner. The President then departed for Copenhagen Denmark.
