Day 325 Obama Administration December 10, 2009

The day was devoted to receiving the Nobel Peace Prize and the ceremonies that accompanied it After arriving in Oslo the President and the First Lady attended the Nobel Peace Prize Signing Ceremony. The President then has a meeting with Norway's Prime Minister Stotenberg. The President and the First Lady then had a private meeting with King Harald V and Queen Sonja.

At 1PM the President and the First Lady attended the Nobel Prize Ceremony. The President gave an unconventional acceptance speech in which he defended the use of force and made it clear that despite reeiving the Peace Prize he would use force if neccessary to defend the interest of the US. Speech
