Day Thirty Seven- Second Hundred June 4, 2009

The President began his day by signing Golden Books for Saxony and Dresden. He then met for a one on one meeting with German Chancellor Merkel. That meeting was then expanded to include a larger group. After the meetings the President and the Chancellor held a press conference. The Press confrernce dealt with a wide range of issues, including follow- up qeustions on yesterdays speech in Cairo. The President and the Chancellor clearly developed a warm relationship. The President and Chancellor then toured the Church of our Lady in Dresden.

In the aternoon the President and the Chancellor toegether with Nobel Laurete and Holocust survivor visited the Nazis concentration camp at Buchenward. All three delivered remarks.

In the early evening the President visisted the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center before departing Ramstein Air Base for Paris France.
