The President and Vice President began the day by receiving the daily security and economic briefings. The President and Vice President also had there weekly one on one briefing. The President then met with his senior advisors.

The President then gave an address on Cyber Security. He established a new office of of National Cybersecurity Coordinator. Obama stated that the threat from cyber attacks was very real and could undermine America economy as well as cause severe damage to the military. Remarks

In the afternoon the President attends a national hurricane preparadeness meeting at FEMA.
