Day Twenty Nine - Second Hundred May 28, 2009

The President began his day in Los Angeles which he left early in the morning. When he returned to the White House he met with the President of the Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas. After a 45 minute meeting with Abbas the meeting then expanded with a meeting with a larger staff. After the meeting the two Presidents met with reporters Transcript The President made clear his commitment to a two state solution and called on Israel to end settlement activity. At the same time he called on Abbas to strengthen security as well end incitement against Israel in Mosques and schools.

The President then met with Secretary of State Clinton. Following that meeting the President met with his senior advisors.
