The President began his day with his daily security briefings. The President then had a one on one meeting with King Abdullah of Jordan. After a one and one on meeting a larger meeting took place with staff. At the conclusion of that meeting the President met with reporters. The President underscored his commitment two a two state solution to the Arab Israeli conflict, and called for immediate progress to be made. Remarks

The President then met with his senior advisors and received his daily economic briefing.

In the afternoon the President presented the commander in Chief's trophy to the Naval Academy football team.

The President and the Vice President then met with Senator Kennedy and former President Clinton to discuss expanded National Service. Following the meeting the President signed the Edward M Kennedy Serve America Act. Remarks
