The Battle of Bosworth on August 22 ended the War of the Roses. The battle ensued after Henry Earl of Richmond landed at Milford Haven with French help. Henry defeated Richard III in the battle. Richard died in the battle and Henry was crowned Henry VII King of England. He founded the tudor dynasty that was to rule England for 117 years,
