The Golden Years

1928 Earhart Becomes 1st Woman to Fly Atlantic

On June 18th Amelia Earhart became the first women to fly across the Atlantic, She flew as a passenger in a plane that took 24 hours and 49 minutes to make the crossing. Her pilots were Wilmer Stulz and Slim Gordon. The aircraft was a Fokker FvIIb 3bm.
