The President began the day with a meeting with the President Klaus and Prime Minister Topolanek of the Czech Republic. After the meeting the President the President spoke to a large crowd in Hradcany Square. Full Remarks

The President then met with President of the European Commission followed by a luncheon session of the EU summit.

Next the President met with President Zapatero of Spain

He then went on to meet with President Kaczynski and Prime Minster Tusk of Poland.

Finally the President had his final official meeting of the day with the former Czech President Havel.

The President then departed Czech for Ankara, Turkey.
