The day was dominated by the London G20 Economic Summit. The President began his day with a meeting wiht South Korean President He then attneded a G20 Breakfast which was followed by Plenary sessions and Lunch. In the afternoon there were additional sessions, followed by meetings with the leaders of Saudi Arabia and India.

Most observors believe that the meetings which which were dedicated to working to helping the world's economy avoid a worldwide depression were effective. The G20 agreed to increase the fundng of the Inernational Monetary Fund by 1.2 Trillion Dollars.
