At 12:30 the President and the Vice President met with members of the Democratic Leadership of Congress. At 3 PM President Obama and Treasury Secretary Geithner met with the ranking member of the Senate and House banking comittees to discuss new plans for bank regulation. At the 3:45 he President spoke after the meeting to reporters. Remarks

In the evening the President and the First Lady hosted a performance of Stevie Wonder at the Whie House.
