Day Twenty Nine February 18, 2009

The President began his day in Phoenix were he unveiled his plan to help Americans at risk to have their house foreclosed. The plan will cost $75 Billion and is expected to help as many at 9 million home owners. Text of Remarks

After giving his speech the President spent the rest of the day flying back to Washington. For the past two weeks the president has been traveling out of Washington three or four times a week.

First Lady Michelle Obama invited about 180 students from D.C. schools to the East Room of the White House today for a celebration of African American History Month and to hear a performance by the famous a cappella ensemble, "Sweet Honey in the Rock."
