At 11:00 AM The Presdient and Secretary of Treasury Geithner announced that the top empolyees of any financial company receiving special US assistance will be limited to receiving $500,000 in total compensation. They can however receive special restricted stock that can be sold only after the government received a payback of the money givent to the banks. Remarks

At 11:50 the President met with Secretary Clinton and Ambassador Mitchell and heard a report on Mitchell's mission in the Middle East.

At 12:15 the President had his weekly private lunch with Vice President Biden.

At 4:30 PM the President signed into law the SCHIP legislation which extended health insurance to additional children. Remarks
