President Barack Obama meets with Senior Advisor Valerie Jarrett, Neil Eggleston, Counsel to the President, Communications Director Jennifer Palmeiri and Press Secretary Josh Earnest in the Oval Office to discuss the decision by a Staten Island grand jury not to indict police officers who had interacted with Eric Garner during an arrest last summer that resulted in Garner's death. The President later made a statement about the decision at the top of his remarks at the Tribal Nations Conference, Dec. 3, 2014.
