The President started his day with his security brieifing. He then me with Austrialian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd.

The President then received his economic brieifng and met with his senior advisors. The President spent much of the day on the phone with foreign leaders briefing them on the US plans for Afghanistan. At 10PM the President held a video conference with the Afghanistan President to discuss his plans for US troop deplohyment.
