1963 DC-9 Flown
Douglas Aircraft unveiled the DC-9 jet on February 25th. The plane which was designed for short flights had two engines in the rear. McDonnell-douglas was very agressive in selling the DC-9 making available many different configuration for various customers. Over 1,000 DC-9's were sold. |
